This is very similar to the one I just listed and sold, I made three on I am keeping for myself. The only difference is in the shape of the handle, this has a small finger grip. As I said before, I needed a knife for a camping trip on which we planned quite a bit of hiking and designed a new style. It worked so well I decided to make more. Here is a bowie style in a lightweight hunter perfect for hiking, camping and edc.
The steel is 1/8 A2 hand rubbed to 600 grit, about 60 rc. Handle is hidden tang construction, black walnut burl with a Teak Oil finish. Red fiber spacers and antique gun blue finish on iron guard and cap. Guard pattern is carried over to the cap.
This is very light weight and hangs low on the belt, out of the way when walking. Hand tooled sheath.
overall length 10 1/2 , blade 6 1/4" in front of guard. Width 1 1/2".
Price $165.00 sheath and shipping in US included.
