2nd Choice Brand after Spyderco?

I often use Victorinox as a budget alternative. They really don't work as well as a Spydie for daily use but I've been carrying SAKs forever and you get fond of them.

Outdoors I use a BHK or a Fallkniven.

It would have to be Benchmade, although my Spydies are carried 99.9% of the time.

Actually, for current production brands it's a tie - Chris Reeve/Spyderco/ESEE.

I like my benchmade mini griptillian a lot!!!!

but i often will be carrying a ESEE izula or Izula 2 in me instead....at least depending on where I am.

I really want to get a sebenza, but for now im chillin with spyders

If you're talking production folders, I'd have to go with Kershaw. I like a few Benchmades but Kershaws seem to have the ergos, functionality, and style I like the most. If only they had the qc, fit/finish, and beauty of my Spidies.

Zero Tolerance is a real close second to Spyderco. That's because of the plethora of quality knives that Spyderco has to choose from. From a tough user point of view, "I like Zero Tolerance".

Moved to General Knife Discussion because a thread asking about other brands is not appropriate in a manufacturer forum.

My first choice would be ZT, then a toss up between Kershaw or Buck, Then Spyderco...

I like Kershaws folders just a little better than Spyderco, simply because most of the spyderco folder blades are under 3inches,wich is just a little too small for my taste, but if Spyderco had more of a selection of 3.5in. or bigger,it would probably be hard to choose between Kershaw and Spyderco, but right now my #2 spot has to go to Case.;)

Spyderco is second for me right behind Kershaw (and ZT since they're basically Kershaw). With those two companies, you can be pretty much set as far as folders go. I like Benchmade too.
