Hi!

Yes, i'm bad, if got several trades/deals going on right now with great people here at the forums. Deals that i just cannot follow through for the moment...
Problem is that the mail service is seriously clogged! it seems to take forever to get the stuff over here.

I'm really sorry for any problems caused by this, thanks to all people that are patient and waits 'til the mail service is up to normal.

I'm checking USPS site daily and last week i got the impression that it was back to normal but now it says the there's a delay and that they are working to get it back on track.

So again, thanks to all the kind people that has understanding on this.
And forgive me if i seem even more absent minded then usual :)
 
There is definitely a delay. I have shipped several knives over a week ago and still waiting for them to get delivered. I am also waiting on some. If you want to have anything shipped right now you had better be patient.
 
I just hate to wait for the good stuff!

At the moment USPS SUCKS ! Sent out a CQC6 on 9/24/01 and still no sign of it. This is rediculous.

Try not to worry too much = alot of stuff seems to be going by ship, rather than air at the moment. I had two packages sent by TAD on the same day that arrived a week apart. Some stuff sent arond 9/11 is still on a boat somewhere.....

Ed, this slow shipping business kind of freaks me out a bit, especially when I consider what you have on the way from me. Please let me know as soon as it arrives, my friend.

Jonas, drink some more beer and when you regain consciousness the wait will have already passed. :)
 
I got held up finalizing a deal with Jonas (my fault entirely:o); all hell brakes loose; I finally get everything taken care of and the post office calls me back in, several days later, to sign papers for customs declaring what I was sending! It wasn't even a package, only a Global Priority envelope; correspondence and pictures. It's hard telling where the thing is at and I know what a mess it has been. I, too, am sorry if there has been any problems caused.:(

2Sharp, I just finished a deal with a fellow forumite that is on a base in Japan. It took literally 3 weeks for the knife to get to him. The knife finally did and all is well.

So, keep your chin up.. All will get done in good time.

;)

You're right about that, no custom Emerson's stuck in mail.

I actually wish that i did have custom Emerson knives stuck in the mail, that would mean that i was going to own a custom pretty soon. And how much i'd love to own one is beyond comprehension!

The CQC6, the knife of my dreams :)

There is hope for you yet - look at Les's post in the Emerson Forum, he belives that the price for a dated CQCC6 will fall to less than $1000 soon.

Just hang in there my friend - there is a 6 with your name on it.
