This blade is simple, no nonsense. A straightforward utilitarian knife meant to work. The tang is a burnt and epoxied dowel fit, and if I'm not mistaken the cherry handle should redden a little over time. A little bulkier at the handle than most of my others.

• Blade: 246mmx57mm AEB-L (63hrc) 600 grit hand finish
• Neck: 20mmx20mm
• Handle: 130mm, tapering from 26.8mmx22.6 to 24.6mmx20.6mm, cherry, oiled and waxed.
• POB: 60mm from handle
• Spine: 2.51mm at the neck, 1.78mm at 13cm, 1.2mm 1cm from the tip
• Grind: flat to convex

• Edge: .1mm to near zero at halfway continuing to the tip.

This one's a bit thinner than its counterpart though both came out to exactly the same weight with the same POB. This one has a two part handle consisting of scorched oak and ebony. The method of construction and finishing remains the same, burning in, and oiling+ waxing. The end has been sealed with CA glue, and the tang is epoxied into the handle.
