2X48 to 2X72 Conversion

I am pretty new to having a grinder, do you guys seen any other modifications that would need to be made to my 2X48 to convert it to a 2X72 besides a longer tooling arm?

Longer arm should be all you need.

I have a 48” grinder. I run longer tool arm and it works good. I do have some tracking issues when I run my small wheel attachment.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I was worried about tracking issues as well. Have you experimented with anything that solves the tracking issues when running the small wheel attachment? I don’t have mine yet but I will be getting one in the future.

Well it seems to be better with different belts and some of the wheels. But not much better.
