2x72 belt selection to start

Hey guys, i am in the process of building a NWGS and need some advice on belts. I dont really care what the cost are although value is obviously a plus. What i am wondering is what belts do you find to be essential and what grits can i skip out on. I would like to be able to profile, bevel, and possibly machine finish with the satin or brushed style finish, i will also be taking a few to mirror but dont mind hand work. Brands and grits would be a huge help as i am not very familiar with belts in this class. I know i should go ceramic or zirc for lower grits, and can get away with AO for higher, but not sure if the savings are worth it. FWIW i currently only work with carbon steel, specifically 1084. Basically what i am after is some help with what belts i need to have a pretty good "do it all" or at least do most of it, setup. Thanks in advance guys.
