Hey everybody, I am soon going to be purchasing my first serious grinder, a wilmont little buddy(lb1000). I restore axes as a hobby, but my sales are also getting pretty serious to the point that I need more than a file and adhesive, drill chucked sanding pads. I will be mostly grinding tempered, very old axes. Secondarily, I do some blacksmithing and knife making, and will be using it for these hobbies as well. What would you gentlemen reccomend me for belts? Any other reccomendations? Thanks all.

Some shots of axes, to make this thread more interesting!

Check out the VSM ceramics from TruGrit. They're cheap, the work well and they last a really long time!

Cubitron 2 or blaze can munch some steel. Those 36 grits will chew your fingers up pretty fast though!
