Hey Guys. And Girls. Where do I find belts in the finer grits. I can only find them to 500 is there a source for the higher ones. Thanks for any help
 
yep super grit even have microfilm belts to 9 micron (9mic out of stock last trip i was there tho)
 
Supergrit(read Truegrit) also has the Norton Norax structured abrasive belts and the 3M Trizact down to very fine 5µ(?) size, well at least down to 22µ and 15µ. They will both outlast the film belts by several times.

http://www.popsknifesupplies.com/ is also a very good place to buy many knife supplies, including belts.

I second Steve's recommendation of Pop's. Also, if you buy from supergrit, call them to find out about the belts if they don't list the make/model. I've had some good luck with their belts and some bad. Pop's sells pretty much everything I need at a very good price.

For supplies I agree
Pop's is a great place, and great people.
also Alpha Knfe supply has some great people.
 
Pop's, just ordered some belts and they usually have them shipped to me in 3 days or less.
 
If your east of the Mississippi, go with Pop's, if your west of the Mississippi, go with Tru-Grit. (only because of delivery times) Both Pop's and Tru-grit have a fine catalog which has much more than belts.

I'm not dogging Super-grit, but I've tried their products, and for what we do, they are now where near the quality of abrasives you will get from either Pop's or Tru-Grit.
