2x72 belts

Pops has some good cheap 36, 60, 80 grit belts too if your looking for something inexpensive. I've been using the rough "economy" belts for profiling.

I buy most of my belts from Pop. I buy Norax and Norton hoggers from Tru Grit. Norton Hoggers in 60 grit last a long, long time when I do stock removal with 1/8" thick steel.

TruGrit's close to me, so I save on shipping; they usually have everything I need in stock.

I like USA knife maker, too. The blaze belts are good for rough grinding, they last and are aggressive. I use J-flex belts after that, I have no complaints about Tracy's prices or service.

I have nothing but complements for Tracy's prices or service but have yet to decide whether I like blaze or 3M gold belts better for hogging. Just got another few of each in to use...

Here is a good thing to know that was passed to me. If you are grinding at a fast speed get the Norton Blaze belts. They will give you a great return for your money because they will last longer than the best 3M has to offer . But they don't work as good as 3M belts if you grind at a slow speed. Frank
