hello all,
got to downsize some. I have a homemade 2x72 i have used for years. it tracks very well and built like the KMG. the pic shows an older pic of it. it comes with a 2 hp Variable Speed motor and VFD package. Requires 220V only. this is a TEFC unit. the motor and VFD (penta drive) sells for over 800 new.
The grinder takes the same arm as the KMG. this comes with a flat platen and has pressure treated glass already epoxied to the steel platen, which reduces heat and increases belt life.
I would prefer pickup on this. it is heavy. The tightening knob was replaced in the picture with an actual round knob and not a bent bolt. the unit has also been painted now. tracking is smooth and even. tension is adjusted by the attachment arm tightening knob.
the unit is already wired and ready to go. all you have to do is plug it in.
I am at Fort Bragg, NC.
Cost is $ 1200
