I am almost finished building my 2x72 grinder from scratch and am in the search for belts. I work with a lot of cpms35 and other stainless steels just incase steel choice is important for belt consideration.
My question to the group here is what is recommended for belts. I want something that is not gonna wear out after finishing only 1 knife. I have heard ceramics are very good and i also saw 'structured abrasives' and that they were good also. Is one better? Or is there a better alternative that i havent seen yet?
