2x72 surface grinder???

Hey guys

Anyone around here converted a normal surface grinder to take 2x72 belts??

Can I see some pics if you have?,


I am working in Wally Haye's shop doing odd jobs and we want to switch his little grinder over from stone wheels.

What size wheels do you think work best??, and do you prefer belts over the stone wheels?,


We have a couple older flat platens with wheels and an extra 8 inch wheel


any help would be great

Indian George used an old Kalamazoo grinder to replace the stone wheels. I don't know how he did it. Hopefully he will see this post and chime in.
