3 1/2" custom stainless skinner with filework. SOLD

Hello, I have for your consideration a 3 1/2" custom skinning knife. The Blade is ATS-34, 3/16" thick, with a tapered tang that has been polished and filed in a vine pattern on the spine. The flat grind on the blade was taken all the way to a point so the final honed edge is hardly visible. The filework recesses were left in the as hardened state to show some of the coloring that was created in the hardening process. It has a subtle rainbow effect more pronounced towards the tip. The scales are figured walnut that has been dovetailed into the polished stainless bolsters. The knife comes with the tooled leather sheath shown.
