Whatever you call it, it's great. Dumb question, but would this be best suited for right hand carry/user with a LH carry/
User chisel ground on the other side?
On a knife like this, yes... ground on right side is somewhat performance oriented for the right hand and vice e versa. On a chopper it really doesn't matter in my opinion.

I have done plenty left handed cutting with a "right hand" ground chisel and they do work pretty well that way. I ground my first knife on the left side and it cuts great in the right hand, you just use a slightly steeper angle than normal. Emerson knives are all ground on the left side and work for righties.
