3/16 thick Kephart?

I will argue that the Kephart design was a thin stock knife for slicing etcetera and if it is not thin, it ceases to be a Kephart and you have something different. I would say the Laser Strike is more useful for those who batton their wood in processing wood for a fire where a traditional Kephart would fail, since it would most likely been paired with a hatchet. I would personally convex the edge or change the secondary V edge angle to a more acute one for how I “Roll”

Lucas Forge can do it for you. great knives

One of my favorite knives that I would like more than a traditional Kephart.
3/16” thick knife stock
3V
Convex edge.
It has a more useable drop point instead of a spear point.
Just took it on a week long backpacking trip
Excellent at bushcraft
Excellent at wood processing of smaller wood under 5” diameter.
I battoned the $&@# out of this knife. I did my best to abuse this knife to torture test it. Here is a couple pics. I would call MBK to see if any are left or to be put on a waitlist.

I battoned it through a more than 1” knot

Some practice notches in a dried hardwood after much abuse of the knife.
