So, I got one of the Imps from our own illustrious Average Iowa Guy(AKA Doc, AKA AIG, AKA Ver Steeg Blades.) So Wednesday I was informed it was done and ready to ship, and on its way. Today I get home from work a li'l earlier than expected, and actually get home AS the mail carrier is dropping off this package. The package is rather... WUMBO. Now Doc DID say he had included something "extra" so I was curious to see what it was. As I open the package, first thing is the Imp:
Looking a little further, I see some dice, pretty sure these die are BBC (Bushcraft™ Basic Certified) but they are BADA$$!
And yes BTW, the die match the Imp... Doc knows what's up!
Then looking a li'l bit deeper I see the reason for the large box!
This thing is even sweeter in person. It came out of spending too much time together in the car, but it actually is sweet. It feels A LOT more alive in the hand than the regular 2. It feels like it wants to chop, and slice, and just... yeah! It's awesome! But yeah I don't think he is going to do this for anyone else either cause it IS kind of a heinous mod!

In past the "in on one" boasting and into the "you just have your settings wrong" page. Personally, I like 20 PPP, especially when there are lotsa pitchers, the way you guys are sposeda do it.
Shoulda known that it was you CheeseBear that put IAG up to that. Funny you say it's a heinous mod when you weren't the one breathing 1095CV dust.....hopefully the Doc wasn't either.
I think it's a pretty cool mod....for you. I can't even sharpen a single grind.... I can't even imagine how bad I'd |=u[|< up the edges on that beast.

I'm pretty sure Doc knows that breathing the 1095 does not turn you into Tradewater. I actually really like the knife. It's a great mod IMO, it just looks... I like it.

I "think" I'm gonna have to go to some kind of non-reunion reunion because my mother wants to go and she doesn't drive in Austin traffic. So as her only chillun within 180 miles, guess who gets the "opportunity"? Still trying to convince her she really doesn't want to go. It sure will preclude me getting anything major done tomorrow.
