3/32" Brass or Steel

Is there anywhere I can get this sized brass or steel rods at commercial stores or anywhere else? I don't really want to spend at least $10 on just the rods by ordering on the internet. I think I read at welding shops, but wasn't positive if I could get them there.

My local Ace Hardware has a decent selection of brass & aluminum rod, thinwall tube and flat sheet stock. I've seen rod sizes from 3/32 up to 5/16. No stainless or thicker barstock, though.

You can get brass rods at OSH, Home Depot, Lowes or other hardware/home improvement store.

Try an Ace Hardware Store. They usually have materials to make mosiac pins so they should have your rod or pin stock.
 
Try your local hobby shop. They probably will have a display of stainless, brass and aluminum rods of various sizes plus stainless (304) and brass bars.
