3,5-4" closed, single blade and wooden scales. Can you help me?

This immediately came to mind :D

My EDC, great knife. I highly recommend one.

Some of us have been attempting to parse out this picture currently in GEC's "What's Happening" page:

I already have several spear and clip point barlows, and I am looking forward to getting more spear points from GEC. Down the road, but this would be another option. The Huckleberry knives are also great options. Again, I have some of those, but would be interested in a single bolster version of the spear points.
It looks like there might be more single-bladed spear somethings on the way. Maybe?

I'll be your proxy, if you like.
Message me.

I actually managed to find a store that could ship a Schatt & Morgan heritage knife to me, but there are other knives I want to buy. I might send you a message.

Two come to mind.

A couple of years back Schatt & Morgan released a line of knives called the Heritage Series. The 2011 knives included single blade jacks, in spear point and clip point versions. They were made with ebony and rosewood covers. Dealers still have some of the clip point knives. The spears can sometimes be found on the secondary market.

A spearpoint is on it's way to me.

Do you have a GEC 85, 55 or 23 you could compare to your S&M? I'd like to see a picture of it.

Sorry, I only have a 15 and 73. Hopefully on of the other members can help you.

Meant to take this picture earlier for you... Here are a bunch of knives that I hope can help. Knives are sorted top to bottom from smallest handle to largest. I added the 06 Pemberton at 2 7/8" closed to show how small they can go. Next is the #15 Boy's knife which is 3 1/2". I don't have a #55 but I believe the #56 Reverse Dogleg Jack is the same frame and also 3 1/2". Next is the #85 which I think you have already. This one is 3 5/8". Next is the single spear bladed Schatt & Morgan Heritage Jack. I believe this is 3 3/4" as is the #73. 2nd to the bottom is a #12 Jack but this is available as a single blade from CKNet. It is 4" closed. At the bottom is the #23 which is 4 1/2" closed. Not pictured is a #48 which can still be found with American Cherry wood and 440c blade. It would be between the #73 and #12 at 3 7/8" closed but might have been too thin handles. I think you should also look at this post http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1057982-Ebony-Jack-knife?p=12088195#post12088195 in WFC's thread for the #53 Pen. It would fit in between the #12 and #23 at 4 1/8" long. The pen blade rides low enough and has an unobtrusive profile such that you can think of the #53 as a single clip blade knife with a spare pen blade should you ever need it.

I got a s&m today. I don't have a proper camera available so no pictures.

The attention to detail is not as good as on the GEC knives I have. It has some gaps here and there and some dents in the ebony wood. Not that it affects the use of the knife.

It's also easier to open that my GEC knives. I think it would be perfect as a knife for a kid with the light opening. I think the GEC knives are a bit to hard to open for a kid. The blade is thicker than on the previously mentioned GEC's. It has a thick handle and that's good.

Overall I'm happy with it.
