Hey Jerry,
How about a 3 7/8 or 3.8 inch EDC in the form of an AD or MS? Here in New York City, the New York Administrative Code makes it a crime to carry a knife with a 4 inch blade or larger. I know this is true in some other jurisdictions.
Why not make a knife that is sized so that with a ruler flush to the handle you can see a little space - so it is obviously under 4 inches and a legal carry? Recently purchased the MS variant at the Company Store with the satin blade and ghost handle. It was described as 3.5 inches in blade length. While this may be true in terms of the cutting edge, with a ruler against the handle the blade measured over 4 inches. It would not be smart to carry the knife in New York City. So Jerry, can you craft something for the 4 inch rule? Please.
