Canadian Special, A2 steel, green canvas micarta scales although they appear brown in anything other than bright light. I bought this one new. It has a small blemish on the scale, see closeup photo. This is how it came from Bark River. Comes with the Sharpshooter bush craft sheath. No nicks or chips on blade, slight patina from use. Very sharp. Original box included.
Kephart full tang, A2 steel although incorrectly etched 12C27 steel on blade. Ebony scales. I got this one in a trade so I am not the first owner. It had just gone through the Bark River spa treatment when I acquired it and was etched 12C27 at that time. This one has a good patina on the blade from use. No nicks or chips on blade. Very sharp. Comes with the Sharpshooter bush craft sheath. Box included is not original. Says black canvas micarta on box label. Scales are in fact ebony.
North Star Companion, A2 steel, green canvas micarta scales. I bought this one new. Slight patina on blade due to use. Has slight scratch marks on spine near tip from striking a fire steel. See closeup photo. Comes with new unopened Sharpshooter bush craft sheath. Original box included.
All knives are first production runs.
For $15 Bark River Knife will refurbish the knife back to like new condition so keep that in mind.
