center -- 18 inch 28 ounce 18th Century style by Bura. It's 10/10 outside the handle which took a hit in its 12,000 mile journey to get here. A gentle tapping with a hammer and some wood filler epoxy will put this back to top condition. Delivered to your door for $75 today.

Nasty, what did you email for?

I just tried for the hanuman but I figured you beat me to it.

It wouldn't have made any difference if you had,you lucky dog, but by posting you'd have spared me 8 minutes of heart palpitations. Oh well-what else am I alive for, if not heart and heartbreak?

Nice to have you back, Uncle, and taking all our money! What was that saying? Oh yes: "Debt is Good!" lol

Yeah, tons of great stuff lately. Guess you didn't want Yangdu to show you up while she was at the helm, eh Uncle? :D

That GS is a spitting image of my 18", although mine is much lighter. I'd like this one's weight, it would seem to me to be the best mix of maneuverability and durability.

That fixer should fill someone's niche. Most people want a 18th century to look at. This one comes not glass case perfect, and could be both repaired for beauty and/or used.

For 75 BUCKS!!! And 28 oz?

right person hasn't seen it yet.

Nasty, I'm sure you'll like the Hanuman. I have mine on display on the shelf next to the fire place in my living room. I think it is really different and full of charactor!

Uncle Bill, is the Gelbu Special still available? I'll place it along side the Hanuman;)

I don't Munk, but I bet you could. It Balances very nice. Not too blade heavy as I thought it might, with a "short" tang. I like all those little gizmos. :D

You realize the thing is the Swiss army knife of khukuris, right? The caddy of army knives. You could stroll the wilderness with that tucked into your belt.

So I hate the idea of it being for show only.

munk

Not to worry munk, when the oppurtunity arises, I use my khukuries, knives, and guns.;)

I do get a bit finicky though, what I use for what.:D

You've never struck me as a glass case kind of guy, Sams. I don't think your handle could be Sams, then, could it? Perhaps: "Samuel".

munk

Heck munk, if you went to my profile, you would see my name.:D
No Samuel.

I'm not shy, they called me Sam in the Teams.;) The last name started with "s" so............................

among other things, shooting being foremost in my mind, you list canoeing as a hobby.

Things get slow around here, that would make a great OT thread. I'm sure lots of folks never did it but wondered- like I have.
