munk I love being by myself outdoors.
When I go on the water in Florida, I like the ocean or those little swamp rivers. The only people I see are kayakers now and then. What really blows my mind, 3-4 hours on a stream alone and I stand up to relieve myself wham........3 kayakers!
I'm getting old so I don't go by myself too much anymore. I hit a log jam last year, because the canoe wasn't balance with one man it flipped. I had to swim to retrieve my gear, paddles, back pack, and dive for my fishing tackle. Then swim for the canoe. There is no bank in the swamps. I had a tough time swimming with my .44 on, knife, tools etc. 30 years ago it was fun, but I damn near got hurt this time.
