I wouldn't mind,
if a heavier khuk was not available.
Also depends how big a tree.
Just should minimize twisting on it,
just in case.

You're welcome Ken.:) Actually we weren't nazi symbol users. We ndns are just one of many people around the world that used the symbols of the "Twirling Timbers" which is only one name for the symbol. The Twirling Timbers represented eternity for one meaning.
There's a beautiful Navajo rug at Wool-A-Roc Museum that has the symbol at all four corners with the ends twisted in opposite directions from one another.

The Navajo, Hopi, and another Southwestern tribe all came together back in the late '30s if I recall the date correctly and agreed to not use the symbol anymore since Hitler had taken the symbol and desecrated it.
I have the information available in one of my Time/Life ndn books, best info ever on many tribes ever written, and can dig it out for you if you want accurate dates and the other tribe.
I've used the symbol for personal use and in ceremonies, but never in the public view. Had the Cherokee signed the agreement then I wouldn't use it at all.:)
I wouldn't mind having one of the kamis khuk's that uses the mark.:D

WHAT A SHAME SUCH A SACRED SYMBOL HAD TO BE CORRUPTED IN SO FOUL A MANNER.

i hope the hopis and other good souls like your self will oneday use the symbol again and restore its honour.
seems a shame to let one man [hitler] taint something so good.

What Yvsa said. It is the heathens of the Northern ways who feel largely responsible for rehabilitating this misused and misappropriated symbol, along with other runes (symbols which are still illeal in whole or part in Germany). Ya jest can't let one of the most powerful and important symbols of the North (and the world, for that matter) get dragged thru the dirt and not clean it up.

Next step - drive the puritanical evils from the powerful symbols of seuuality, birth, and death.

Figure that'll only take another 50-100 years.;)

Wonderful link and article, Yvsa! All traditions and relations meet in the four corners of the fylflot!
