top -- 18 inch 21 ounce very light and fast WWII model by Murali. It's excellent work by Murali and for the life of me I can't see why it's a blem but Yangdu says it is and I've learned not to argue. Karda & chakma good. Scabbard by village sarki in new leather which says it all. Take it home for $95, fifty off regular.

center -- 15.5 inch 21 ounce perfect BAS by a new kami I don't know --SK with mark of the trident. He seems to know what he's doing -- very good work. Only problem with this khukuri is a rough spot on handle about half inch square. Karda & chakma fine. Good scabbard with mil style frog by village sarki in new leather. Take this one away for $60, $40 off regular.

bottom -- 15.5 inch pound and a half AK by Sanu. Perfect except handle has grainlines that probably will never go anywhere. Usual work by Sanu. Karda & chakma good. Scabbard by village sarki in new leather. Delivered to your door for $75, fifty buck saving.

Call or email. Now I'm heading out for my 30 minute AM bike ride.

I "think" he's new since I've not seen those initials before but I've seen the trident. Murali started off with the trident as his mark and then switched to Nepal flag when he got back from his year off due to TB. This could be one of the KNNs, too. They do not keep me informed regarding personel changes.

Drat!

Actually, I'm glad you grabbed it SB. Should be a wonderful all around multi purpose khuk you'll probably end up keeping next to your bed or at the computer desk during your waking hours.

I've already got one with an 18" WWII blade on a Hanuman handle, too nice to use, unfortunately.

Despite the hoorah over the latest thing to come out of BirGhorka, The 18" WW2 is still regarded as one of, and probably the best single khuk to have on you for unexpected events.

Enjoy it to the hilt.

I had my eye on the WWII as well, especially a light one. Something with a little more utility in it than a GS or Kobra, but still light enough to not weigh down your belt. The BAS looks good too, and would be nice to have the first one from a (theoretical) new kami. Oh well, one package to smuggle into the house is enough today (Pen Knife) :D

mPisi, I've had to smuggle in a few knives before and know for a fact that it can be tricky. Good luck.;)

Rusty: Thanks for the info on the WWII. It looks like a winner. If I keep buying HI Khukuris, I'll never save enough for my Busse. Of course, with my Khuks, I'll never need a Busse...Well, maybe just one Groove Master!

Now, somebody buy that BAS before I do. I'll be enough trouble when the WWII shows up...

Uncle Bill, It looks like Pala has found another very good one. That looks like a very fine BAS.
Good thing I'll be out of the hole soon.:) ;) :D

if the BAS is still looking for a home. It don't have to look any more. You have mail.:)

I guess I'm just a sucker for the BAS kind of like Sarge. Besides that one looks like the new Kami does a bag-up job. Looks pretty to me.:D

I can hardly believe that this AK is still here.
Maybe it will go when folks get off work. Looks good to me.:D

Hello there yourself Brian. Pull up a chair and kick off your shoes and set a spell. Too hot today to do any real work, leastways that's my story and I'm stickin' to it. Uncle'll eventually wake up and reply to you sooner or later, say tomorrow morning about 9 or 10 Pacific time.
