3 climbers killed by avalanche in Scotland yesterday :(

It seems they were in well-prepared and experienced groups which begs the question why were they on the mountain when there were avalanche warnings out?

That real sad news. Maybe they didn't check for warnings, or just thought they would be OK anyway.

I wonder how the guy who started it is coping, not that it couldn't have been any one of them.

A couple of months ago there was an article about a volunteer S&R group in Scotland. Their calls in the last few years have gone up 50 %.For the most part it involved people who go out in the wilderness with no knowledge,clothing ,food etc, only a cellphone !! This is also the case in the USA and many other countries.
This is Darwinism ! Brainless, clueless.Those that survive should be heavily fined to pay for all the rescue costs.
