NIce looking pack o knives there DR. Just got me a COndor Hudson bay from Baryonyx today.. It;s a keeper for sure.

The BK-7 handles looks pretty cool.

The top knife has a look I really like.

Look forward to your testing and what you think of them.

Bryan

thanks for posting!
Couple questions for ya if I may: where is the balance point on the PACK GOLOK? any distal taper to the blade?

thanks for your time!

Dr. Bill,

Those are friggin' SWEET looking. I recently bought a Condor Hudson Bay and I'm beyond impressed with it. Lookin' forward to your impression of the new blades.

Wow, I had no idea the Warlock was that much bigger than the Golok. That thing is a monster!

Golok:

Balance point is about 2" from end of grip

Tapers from .195" to .125"--or so

Warlock:
Balance point is about 3" from Grip
.200" to 150"

The Handle of the Golok is Larger in Diameter than the Warlock--but shorter in length

The Warlock feels more like a Fighting Knife that can also chop wood

The Golok feels more like a tool than a weapon
(yes I'm aware both can be used for either role)

Best way to describe it is this---

I have let several other friends hold each---and this is what most said

When you hold the Golok you want to chop...... something

When you hold the Warlock--you want to chop-----someone...(like Charles Manson for example)

The Warlock handle seems more secure while cutting air

Will test all 3 this coming weekend (with Photos) on both thin and thick targets and report findings

The Golok is almost 1/2 the price of the Warlock---and is the overall winner in regards to value of the 3.....(IMHO)

Although testing this weekend will confirm that

Stay tuned

Nice toys........
Go and play

The handles on the BK 7 is special
What wood and who did them?

Out of curiosity, how were the edges on your Condors when they arrived?

All of them were sharper than I expected them to be

Fit and finish of all 3 are also a LOT better than I
expected considering the price

only issue is with the Toloza sheath

this one does not work well and it's not up to the quality
of the knife

Warlock and Golok sheaths are excellent

I look forward to what you think of the Condors. They are on my list, but I keep finding items in other hobbies I want and impulse buy them.

I keep vacillating between the pack golok and village parang. Look forward to hearing how it performs!
