You have to buy directly from spyderco.com or the factory outlet store in golden. It's half off their MSRP. Verification is required too. Last time we went home for the holidays I got a Para 3 for ~$125.

By medical professionals does that mean registered nurses would qualify? Because if so I could have saved a lot of money over the last couple years...

Well it worked lol. It's too bad for me because I think I've acquired all the Spydercos I'll need for a while, but now I have no reason to buy a knife from any other company going forward. It also means a lot to me that Spyderco recognizes nurses, because not many companies do.

Use to be able to buy an unlimited # of knives as an Opfocus member but a$$hole members abused the privilege.
