I taught a basic bladesmithing class this week-end and made these three knives as demonstrations to the group. Sorry for the reflections in the blades, the only thing harder than taking a photo of a knife is taking a photo of three knives.
All are forged from 1/4 inch 5160
Flat grinds
Tapered tangs and blades
Hand sanded to 400 grit
All are approximately the same size:
Overall: 7 1/2 inches
Blades: about 3 3/4 inches
Handles were stabilized in my shop:
Top: curly maple
Middle: Crab apple
Bottom: Locust
Riveted leather scabbards
The bottom two knives are sold. The curly maple is still available.
$110 each delivered to the US or Canada. My PayPal account is gldrewknives@yahoo.com I will also take USPS money orders or a checks with time to clear.
