Picked up this 112 a while back, and it was in real bad shape, packed inside were the remnants of hair, scales, and other stuff...tried to save the Macassar scales but they were rotted! Total dissasembly and sanitizing were necessary. Blade has a few pepper spots (pits) but not anywhere near the edge :)
Finished the work yesterday and just wanted to share...this one will be a regular carry piece for me...

Thanx for looking...

:o I got buisy on this one and never took the "ugly" pics...sometimes I'm like a kid at Christmas with these things :)

A "silk purse from sow's ear" type of story here.

Your work has created something that I would be happy to find in a treasure chest full of rich stuff. A gem. Good work and thank you for sharing the beauty and joy.

Another beauty!! I really like the looks of that Shedua!!

You really need to play with it in the sunlight to apreciate it fully...impossible to capture in a photo...lot's of gold in these pieces, and the grain totally changes depending on what angle you see it from...

Who takes credit for coming up with the term "Pocket-Melted???"

Somebody here?

I Googled it and Google had no references other than here.

Member mqqn said that about my 112 in last weeks SPS...
I kind of liked the sound of it

Beautiful!!!

I tried to pick up a nice shedua 112 on the bay last week and someone sniped it at over $60!

I love the pocket melt treatment! That is so sweeeet!

Thanks for the pictures -

best
