3" EDC in 14C28N gray/black G10

I've got one of Alexs knives with a 5" blade, the handle looks to be the same as on this one. Let me tell you, one of the sharpest knives I own, one of the most comfortable in hand and the sheath is comfortable enough for me to carry it as an EDC. Good stuff here, guys.

Looks very nice and handy. How do you like the sandvik steel? Good catch, hoghunter.

HogHunter - You will like it.
I own a smaller one from Alex - The craftmanship is top notch.
As soon as you have it in your hand, you can tell you made a very good deal.

Then it's confirmed without a doubt once you start using it :D

@808hoghunter - thank you Man, shipping!
@cbach8tw - I like sandvik as a knifemaker - less expensive than S30V/CPM154, easy to work with, takes nice polish, relatively simple heat treat cycle. As a user - don't have much experience, I made couple knives for friends, had one on kitchen for some time, I would say its a decent stainless steel. You can't expect it to hold edge as good as D2, but it easily sharpening. I bought some amount of AEB-L and 14C, enough maybe for 10 knives, so they will show up here soon. But I still prefer D2/A2/S30/CPM154 selection and will get back to it when done with Sandvik.

thank you all guys, always appreciate a kind word!

Really nice. I hope to snag sonething like this frim you in a 5 or 6 inch blade if it comes up. I use 14C28N often. For an EDC that gets used by me everyday, I prefer something that takes a fine edge quickly and is stain resistant.

6" blade EDC - I like that :) Would be actually a "no-no" open carry here in CA, unless you're hunting/fishing at the moment.
I don't plan on making anything that long in Sandvik, simply don't have blanks for it, the thickest I have is 0.136" which is too thin for 6", IMHO. I was going to make couple 4" or 4.5", and few 3-3.5

Quality is top notch on his knives..... I know because I just bought one a couple of weeks ago haha... Wasn't sure about this steel but loved the design so much I couldn't pass it up.. Thanks again ... I think I need to go to a knife addiction meeting.. But very impressed with his knifes at a very good price point... Great work sir
