Emerson 2014 Commander- Nathawut Custom in Thailand parts. Blue titanium spacers, Pivot screw and large ti thumbdisk. Also blade is perfectlyt centered, early lockup. Rock solid no play. Combo edge. This is a workhorse made better with the titanium parts- These go for $235 new, so with Titanium upgrades let's do $255. shipped
Emerson 2000 Commander- This early commander is thinner and lighter. The handle construction has 3 screws that screw into the titanium and then the titanium has 4 different screws that hold the blade together. So the 3 screws are just to attach the G10 grips to the Ti. Much better construction. Also the machine work underneath is fantastically clean and accurate with no machine marks or burrs. Also more costly for the maker. $300. for this one.
