Hello all, I'm a bit nervous posting here for the first time because I'm afraid I may be inadvertently violating one of the rules. At any rate, I have a few fixed blades for sale with epoxy coated paracord handles, I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and try something different than my typical woods and acrylics. I used temperature/UV resistant resin that is also food safe to wet the paracord. I was really going for a primitive and almost elemental look with these blades. They are all 52100 that have been triple normalized and have taken a screaming sharp edge typical of 52100.

#1 (SOLD)

125$ shipped (CONUS)
This is my favorite knife of the batch, the wrap looks bulky but the way the knots space themselves out with this kind of wrap creates nice little finger grooves.

#3 (Rehandled)
5 5/8" cutting edge, 11 1/2" OAL, 3/16" cross section
250$ shipped (CONUS)
The wrap in front came out like a guard but its actual purpose is to serve as an additional attachment point for rope and clips and such.

If these do not sale these within the next few weeks I will be removing the paracord wrap and attaching wood, reaction to them has been overwhelmingly negative even though I personally think they are extremely functional and look pretty nice for the intended style I was going for, but hey, gotta keep the lights on. Thank you for taking time to look. you can reach me via email stracenblade@gmail.com

Just my humble opinion. I don't mind a paracord wrapped handle but I want it designed and wrapped in a style so it will be functional, removable and comfortable (as much as possible). While functional these are obviously not removable and they look to me to be less than comfortable when considering any extended period of use. I like the style of the first two and agree that the second would be my favorite of the bunch.

Do these come with sheaths?

The blades look great! I'm not a big fan of paracord wraps. The ones that look best IMO are minimalistic. The first wrap is my favorite.

I really really like the designs, the paracord handles... not so much. G10 or micarta... money would be sent already. Very nice designs and good steel choice.

Thank you everyone for your feedback, it is greatly appreciated. This was a learning experience all around, one of the fun parts of being a knife maker is undergoing the process of trial and error. I have never done paracord wraps before and I was quite apprehensive going into it as I have never been very good at doing rope work outside of tying my shoes, so I think this was my way of facing a deep seated fear of knots :D
