Mr. Kephart goes to war
This is the culmination of my work with Andy and Dylan - a hearty outdoor knife with great cutting geometry, and balance with an affordable price point. For the last year I have been working with Kephart style blades of different sizes and handles and this is the one! Even though the handle has a comfortable palm swell and curves in all the right places, by keeping it simple I am able to keep the price point down. The o-1 steel blade is a hearty 1/8” this gives the perfect balance between a stiff sturdy blade and light efficient blade geometry. I had a buddy that is still regular duty and wanted a Kephert with the characteristics of an o-1 steel, and the low mantance of stainless. After working with the guys at Custom Digital Design we decided on a simple nonreflective and time tested and proven answer parkerizing.

As one can see this pattern was influenced by my time with Dylan Fletcher. The distinctive thumb ramp on the spine gives excellent leverage especially with the chest lever technique. A wide blade allows for excellent cutting geometry combined with the distinctive blade shape makes this knife perfect for long smooth cuts. The handle combines contours and a palm swell with the simple efficiency I learn from Dylan, forming what is becoming my trademark handle. This knife is an excellent choice for both bushcrafting or for a long haul woodsmen's knife. Living up to it's name this knife is a trusty and dependable companion for both the good times and the bad.
