#3 going to my brother

This was his design all the way and while at first I wasn't thrilled about trying to make a black knife, I think it came out nice.
Suggestions are welcome I am trying to improve all around.....Knife making, Photo taking and so on

That looks great. I really like the blacked out look with the green liners. The entire profile looks great as far as use and comfort go as well. I'm sure your brother will love that.
 
Man I love those G10 scales, she looks awesome. How was that gunkote to apply? Give you any troubles?
Ive used duracoat and it seems to be very temperamental

Now if only that SA was a Glock ;)

It's funny you mention the Glock, My brother is a HUGE Glock fan. I like the SA so I put it in that picture just to tick him off. :)

I have used the GunKote for a while now and ease of use is why I like it so well. This is the first knife I have done, but for guns I love it. I tried duracoat and just wasn't happy with the results. I'm sure its a good product, but just not for me.
 
I like the yellow liners and those phot anvles show it off

but

with such odd angles, ther perspective fails to show the blade profile

and

the handle being at the forefront, seems larger than it is.
 
Wow, great job. I am a huge SA fan. Awesome handgun, and awesome knife, good work. I have used Duracoat a lot and have been very happy with it, however I have never used Gunkote or ceracoat so I cannot compare.

+1 for NOT using a Glock. Springfield Armory is a much better firearm IMPO.
The knife looks really good too. Only on your 3rd and already using coatings. I must be way behind the curve!

You are going to do extremely well, that being your third knife!! Great job........I love the coating and black G10.
