James Huckeba also known as Huckabee and Huck - All knives were purchased by me on the secondary market. I do not know the full history of each knife or in some cases all the materials used in their construction. Each knife is listed separately and condition issues are described.

I became interested in James Huckeba after seeing pictures of his switchblades. I researched his knives, his methods and those that worked and learned from him. He was an amazing stock removal knife maker, did his grinds freehand and produced beautiful mirror polished blades. I believe his steel of choice was ATS 34 based on the information provided to me when purchasing these knives but none are marked with steel type. Each knife is pictured extensively and more pictures are available. There are 2 sheaths included that I believe are original to the knives. The Bowie did not come to me with a sheath.

WITHDRAWN- James Huckeba Stag Handle Hunter with Sheath -WITHDRAWN
- I believe ATS 34 steel, Sambar stag handle with full tapered tang. Maybe nickel silver guard.
- Blade has scratches on both sides but looks unused with original edge.
- Original leather sheath included. Sheath looks scuffed and handled a lot. Probably carried the blade for storage so it saved the blade from more handling marks

WITHDRAWN- James Huckeba Stag Handle Fighter with Sheath -WITHDRAWN
- I believe ATS 34 steel, Sambar stag handle with full hidden tang. Maybe brass guard.
- Blade has light spots of patina forming on both sides but looks unused with original edge. My guess is the blade was stored in the sheath over a long term period. Some patina on the guard as well.
- Original Huckeba marked leather sheath included. Sheath came to me in rough shape, very dry and brittle. I applied generous amounts of saddle soap and have kept it seperated from the knife since. The leather has softened up and seems to be in much better shape now. Probably not going to be a good choice to store the blade in.

WITHDRAWN- James Huckeba Bowie - WITHDRAWN
- I believe ATS 34 steel, Micarta handle with partial tang. I believe the tang extends about into the handle about 1/3 of the way. Maybe nickel silver guard.
- Blade has scratches on both sides but looks unused with original edge. Also has nicks in the blade. Pictures show these well.

Trades Terms and Interests

I enjoy trading. If you want to make a trade offer please do so by pm or email. I'd like to know what you have, the condition and how much you think it's worth. I've given all that information to you and want the same in return. I'd also like a few decent pictures. I think mine are good and fairly represent what I'm selling. I use my phone camera so I know with a little effort anyone can do it.

Regarding my trade interests, I'm looking for a few specific fixed blade knives from Busse and ScrapYard. These include Team Gemini Light Brigade and Scrap Yard Scrapizashi. Users of these knives are ok as long as they are valued fairly. With users I'd prefer they include a decent sheath. It's hard to carry and use a fixed blade knife without a sheath. I might be interested in other Busse and kin but I'm focused on these right now.

I also like Switchblades! :) I like all the nice production stuff such as Dalton, Microtech, Masters of Defense, Spyderco, Woodard, White Wolf, James Brothers, Desert Knife Works, Zero Tolerance, Kershaw, Gerber and basically any other collectible production switchblade. I also have a more limited interest in custom automatics as well as production automatics by Protech, Benchmade, Piranha, Paragon. I prefer new in box or unused for switchblades. I sometimes will go for a user that is a great collector piece (subjective I know).

I am always interested in older (80's-90's or earlier) Italian, Japanese or other European and Asian Switchblade Keychain Knives in 4 inch or smaller size. As a general guideline the older Italians and Japanese models have 4 pins on the button side including a thru pin in the spine. In general I am not really interested in other fixed blades, switchblades or folders but if it's a really great deal I might consider it. Thank You! :)
