Hey all, I've got a few available today. I'm really excited about the karambits, they are just wicked little knives.
These are all well fit, and nicely finished 5160, heat treated in shop, and include kydex sheaths setup for large Tek Loks. All of the touch surfaces have nice edge chamfers/rounds for user comfort. These are completely handmade, sole authorship knives, if that's important to you.
All sheaths are presently quite tight, and require a firm draw, but I can loosen them before shipping if you so choose. A Tek Lok will take slight modification in order to fit tight one these, the post nut needs to be shortened just every so slightly. I'm happy to order and modify the tekloks, or just the screws if anyone needs me to.
A few caveats: 5160 is a spring steel, not stainless. It can rust. Kydex sheaths can scratch blades. These are clean, and showing minimal disturbance of the finish. In order to help mitigate these issues, I will offer free polishing to the best of my ability for as long as I am able. The karambits require a specific draw to keep the hook from catching as the blade is withdrawn from the sheath.
Buyer pays shipping. The karambits will fit in a small flat rate box, and ship insured for $8.70. The tanto and drop point will have to go in mediums, and will cost about $15.70 for insured shipping. Please email me at powell.josh@gmail.com to purchase one of these knives!
#1 SOLD $210 5160 blade 1/4" thick. Curved blade karambit, agresive hollow grind. 4" blade, 9" overall length. Aggressive curve and sharp hook at the spine. Random textured carbon fiber scales.
#2 $210 5160 blade 5/16" thick. Curved blade karambit, aggressive hollow grind. 4" blade, 9" overall length. Aggressive curve and sharp hook at the spine. Smooth, low profile carbon fiber scales.
#3 $200 5160 blade 5/16" thick. Straight blade karambit, aggressive hollow grind. 4" blade, 8 3/4" overall length. Straight edge and sharp hook at the spine. Factory textured G10 scales.
#4 $175 SOLD 5160 blade 1/4" thick. Americanized tanto with aggressive hollow grind on the primary bevel, flat grind up front. 6" blade from start of edge to point, 10 7/8" overall length. Textured carbon fiber handle. Primary bevel is quite thin and the point is slightly heavy, this knife is probably not suitable for batoning, but it's a hell of a slasher/stabber.
#5 $175 SOLD 5160 blade 1/4" thick. Wide drop point. 5 1/4" from start of of edge to point. 10 3/4" over all length, over 1 1/2" wide at the base of the blade. Swedge is unsharpened. Smooth carbon fiber handles.
#6 Here is a 5" Medium drop point with swedge. Blade is .32" thick and 5" long, handle is 4 3/4". Olive drab cord wrap. Kydex sheath with belt/IWB/pocket clip is included. Blade is scratching every so slightly in it's sheath (not pictured, but if you are intrested, I'll try to get photos), and it's been sitting around for a while, so I'm reducing the price to $105 + shipping. (from $145 originally).
Also still have a modified tanto forge brute in 1/4" 5160 available. Blade is both 4 1/8", 8 1/8" overall length. Black cordwrap, knife is scratching slightly in it's sheath (can be seen in the first image, and the clip has a couple of minor rust spots, so I'll let it go for $80 + shipping.
In black for $80 + shipping.
