A couple knives here for your consideration.
First up is a long clip hunter in O-1 with dyed and stabilized camel bone.
Ground from 5/32 stock edge is 4 and 3/8
Overall is 8 1/8 1 1/4 inch from edge to spine at the widest point.
Rc 59-60
Price $100.00 with shipping and sheath included

Next up is a drop in O-1 with Shade Tree Custom Composites black handle material. I am not sure if this is denim or canvas hopefully Todd will chime in and get us straight. The finish on the handle was left rather corse. I love how it feels super grippy.
Ground from 5/32 O-1 edge is 3 3/4
8 1/8 overall 1 1/4 from edge to spine at the widest point.
Rc 59-60
Price $110.00 with shipping and sheath included SOLD

Last up is a forged L-6 primitive hunter. Sewn leather wrap. This knife is stout but not as heavy as it looks like it would be. It is very comfortable in hand.
Full taper starts at around 5/32 at plunge
Edge is 3 1/8 edge to spine is 1 inch at the widest point.
7 3/4 overall
Rc 59-60
Price $90.00 with sheath and shipping included

Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any questions.

I will take drop in O-1 with Shade Tree Custom Composites black handle material, if you will ship to Canada.

Is the handle of the forged primitive knife a solid piece of leather wrapped around the tang?
If so, approximately how wide and long is the tang itself if you don't mind my asking?
It's a beautiful knife. Thanks.

The leather on the handle is one piece that was stiched on the bottom side. It was wet formed to fit the tang. The leather is about 3 inches long and the tang from the bolster area back is 4 inches. The handle is 1 x 5/8 at the front end of the leather wrap and tapers to 1 3/8 x 1/2 at the butt end. The tang has a pierced slot that is 1/4 x 1 inches at the butt.

Thanks

William I also think the primitive knife is beautiful.......but I'd have to use it:) Do you think the mess of cleaning / skinning a deer would have an effect on the fit of the handle?

To be honest its hard to say. I think it should be fine as long as the handle stays oiled. At the same time if there ever is a problem I would be happy to fix it. The steel underneath the leather was treated to prevent rust and the leather is tight if anything it will get tighter over time as the leather may shrink with age.

Thanks for the compliments and questions.
