First up is the tactical drop point:
Steel is 3/16" Aldo's 1084
Handle: black canvas micarta

Handle: amber dyed saw-cut cow bone

Last up is the clip point hunter:
Steel is 1/8" Aldo's 52100 etched finish
Handle: osage over black micarta liners
Pins: brass

Very nice, I like the guards that are integral to the blade. And there is just something nice about that Osage. Now what would be cool would be that first knife pattern in a smaller package like a hunter or a bird and trout size. How did you get the etched finish on the hunter?
 
Bruce glad to see some of your knives on the exchange! I love my Bowie from you! It has been a workhorse. I will be watching for something to add to it. Sweet blades!!!!

The etch is done using gun bluing and bleach. I have a bird and trout to post up here soon:) Even though it looks plain compared to other woods I like osage too, super tough and durable.
