1. CRKT ABC $46. 4" AUS-8 blade. I made much of the figure 4 trap with it.

2. Sabatier 4" pairing knife. I think they use 1095 steel. I use this in the kitchen almost everyday.

3. CRKT Falcon $16. 2.12" AUS-6m. I wasn't using this much until I put it in my kitchen knife drawer. It also did some carving on my trap and the bow and drill I just made. Still sharp as hell. I am shocked that AUS-6m could be viewed so poorly.

Glad you like em bro, I think the CRKT Carcajou looks a nice, handy little blade as well !!!

I've had great experiences with crkt for general users they are great thier affordable and functional. I edc'd a crkt mt shasta for 3 years one of the handiest blades I ever owned.

nice trio there....

i like that paring knife... i've never really owned any CRKT's, just about everyone i know has at least one....:o they're great knives especially for the price...

Thanks for the feedback.

CRKT doesn't come up to much on wilderness threads. I used the hell out of these knives in making the figure 4 and a bow and drill. I also did some cutting tests on shoes and such. AUS 8 and 6m are awesome. Both are still hair popping sharp after a light touch up with a steel. Prices are great.

The ABC, stands for All-Bases-Covered. The ABC would be an excellent rafting-canoe knife; as well as an urban carry. I would feel great carrying this on a solo hike with a Multi tool.

I still want a BR mini-canadian though.

The Carcajou is a great knife for fishing. I love mine. I'm currently waiting for a Matt Bailey custom that is a combination of a Carcajou style handle with the blade of a Becker Necker, should be sweet.

I have both the CRKT Falcon and the ABC. I keep the falcon in the center console of my truck, it is very handy. I like the feel and look of the ABC, but have never really used it.
