All Sold
I did a deal with John Alv instagram.com/alvsoutdoorhub to trade for some of his modular sheath systems. These leather sheaths are fantastic. Really well made and tightly fitted to the knife. They are ambidextrous and include a firesteel loop and firesteel. Check John out on instagram.
These were supposed to be on the table at Blade Show last weekend, but the post office sat on the package for about 10 days and they just got here today. :34:
So, each of these sheaths goes for around $100, from what I was told, and that's about what I have into the deal. I'm covering half of that cost. ($50 off)
Grab one while they are available. You won't be disappointed.
I began making PL knives in 2016. I've done leather work for over 20. I added kydex to my repertoire in the last few years. The heat treat on all of my carbon steel knives is done by me in a thermostatically controlled Evenheat knifemaking kiln. Each 80CrV2 blade goes through a 3 stage normalization before being heated to austenitic temperature and quenched in Parks 50 oil. Then it goes through a 2 stage tempering process. 80CrV2 Hardness is approx. 61 hc and my heat treat process produces a blade with extreme toughness and fine edge sharpenability. Scales are glued with West Systems G-flex epoxy. My aim is to produce heirloom quality tools with excellent craftsmanship that will provide a lifetime of enjoyment and service.
