Today I’ve got 3 neck knives for sale. I call this my Mini-Muk model. Overall length is 6 inches, with a 3inch blade (+/- 1/8”). Made from 1/8” O-1, heat treat by me and hand sanded to 400 grit. The first one is orange G10 over black G-10 liners with stainless hardware. The second one is Australian mulga wood treated with Danish oil and waxed with stainless hardware. The third one is Australian mulga with ivory colored Corian bolsters and brass hardware. Two and Three are etched in ferric chloride. The first one has a kydex sheath drilled for a large Tek-Loc and the other two have leather neck sheaths and will come with a lanyard. Price is $65.00 each shipped CONUS.

Thanks for looking,

randy

ETA: orange one is sold pending funds.

Balldboy, I'm sorry but the orange one is sold, pending funds. If the other buyer backs out, it is yours. And I can always make more.

I bought one of your mini muks recently. Great little knife. If you are going to make more, I'd like one of the orange with black liners.

Very nice. Can you snap a picture of the middle knife, perhaps a side profile and top also please?

I have 2 of Randy's knives, and I can confirm that his work is excellent. Not only do you get a great blade, you also get an awesome leather sheath. The two I have are waxed leather, one a neck style and the other a larger hunter style with an attached firesteel loop. Both have cool stamping and the larger one has amazing hand hammered brass rivets. They're obviously hand made, but possess a charm and function that endears them to me as much as the knife. Also, his prices are unbeatable--$65 for a handmade knife and sheath? Do yourself a favor and skip a few Starbucks runs and get one of his knives.

(Apologies, but I've noticed one should be very specific when expressing an enthusiastic opinion--BF members tend to be a fearless crowd)
To the glass half-empty types, I am not associated in any way with Randy other than being a happy and enthusiastic customer wishing to share a good experience.

Happy holidays!

Thanks for the comments, guys. JJdubs, thanks for the compliments. I hate to break it to you but those rivets are copper and available at Tandy Leather. :) GL Drew uses them on some of his sheaths; that is where i got the idea. As requested, here are more picks of number 2:

I forgot to set teh white balance on the camera so the colors are a little off. the handle is about 3/4" at the butt and tapers to 1/2" at the front, near the ricasso.

These 3 are all sold. I'd like to thank everyone for the interest in these knifes. I will definitely make more. With the holidays and my real job, it will probably be mid-to-late January before I have any more ready.

Right now, I have TexasRuby, zidfelts, flyer35, balldboy, and andre1 on a waiting list and will let you know when i have another batch ready. The only other small knives I have available are 1&3 in this thread:

they can be at your door before Christmas. :)
