No doubt Kerambit is a South East Asian small short range fighting weapon. Anyhow I never heard of a Philipino made Kerambit. Normally Kerambit is referred to either Malaysian (i.e. Malayan Kerambit) or Southern Thai (i.e. Petani) or Indonesian (i.e. Sumatran Kerambit or Javanese Kerambit). It is also named as Lawi Ayam in some place in Peninsular Malaysia. While at Java sometimes it is called as Kuku Machan (i.e. Tiger Claw). Kerambit is not popular in Borneo (i.e. Brunai, Sabah, Sarawak & Kalimantan) and Sulawesi... the Kermambit is Malaysian not Filipino ..
