3 new Dashis ( 1 left ) and a Sharpfinger (Pricedrop)

I've been on hiatus over the past 2 weeks helping my wife get her leather shop up and running, but now I'm back with a few new knives to offer. All steel used in my shop is from the NJSB, unless otherwise stated and all sheaths are being made by my wife Jordan, unless you don't want one, then you're making it yourself. :D


Now for some knives, up first is my latest batch of kiridashis.

Acid Dashi
1/8" thick 1095 with a 2.5" FG cutting edge, OAL is 5.25"s. It has been given a stonewash finish with acid for a dull black look , with green resin soaked mini paracord for the handle wrap. Asking SOLDshipped with sheath and a day to make it.

Cotton Dashi

1/8" thick 1095 with a 2.5" convex cutting edge, OAL is 5.25"s. The handle wrapping is resin soaked black cotton cord, the knife if flume finished for the bluing. Asking $40shipped with sheath and a day to make it.

Wee Dashi

1/8" 52100 with a 1.5" convex cutting edge, OAL is 3.75"s. Wrapped in resin soaked tan mini paracord with a flume blued finish. Asking SOLD shipped with sheath.

Sharpfinger
This was a fun knife to make, it started out as .5" x .75" W1 stock and just happened under the hammer from straight imagination to final form. At it thickest it's 0.2"s thick, with a FG 3.25" blade, OAL of 7.25"s. The blade has a distal taper from forging and an unsharpened harpoon swedge, the handle is black canvas micarta. Asking Soldincludes shipping and a deep carry sheath.

I'm interested in the sharp finger. Do you have any more photos of it? Maybe a spine shot, a shot of the other side and a shot in the sheath? Thanks

These are really sweet looking! I know that it is not traditional, but have you ever made dashi's with a grind other than the chisel grind?
