the hunter with the hammon if for a fella who wanted a knife made out of a file, the file was all surface ground prior to forging to prevent stress risors. the handle is desert iron wood burl, pins are nickle silver

the last one is a low layer forged hunter , some where around 50-60 layers of 15n20 and 1080. The handles are desert iron wood burl and it also is fully file worked, and has brass liners. i generally use nickle silver sheet when i put liners on like this cause i think brass almost is tacky...:barf: but i think they look good with the colors in the scales.

That hunter with the hamon is one sweet knife, my friend. I like the handle and the straight spine. Very cool knife. The new owner is going to be stoked.

The Mini-chete looks like a lot of fun as well. Nice work on the wrap!

thanks alot......btw, i never name my knives, but this whole "mini-chete" thing is really growing on me:rolleyes::p
