I was fortunate to recently acquire 3 of Sarge's knives through his immense generosity. You may have seen them before, but they looked so good, I just had to share them with folks that would understand why I like them so much. :) His sense of design and craftsmanship is tops.

Dayum fine knives. I just bought my third Sarge knife from your dealydeal. Got #14, the Nessmucky one. MMMM. Can't wait to heft it. That one above sure looks keen. Thank you, Steve, for posting them, and I agree about his craftsmanship. The maker is a little shy about how skilled he is.

Gooduns Sarge. Can't wait to cut sommin up with that Nessmucky #14. Thanks to you too bro.

He's not that simple. As a matter of fact, he's not that beautiful either.:D

Makes wonderful knives, though.

Dadgum I wish I could take pictures like you do Steve. What'd you do, reverse engineer technology scavenged from a UFO crash or something?

Andy, when you get your hands on #14, I ain't responsible if it makes you want to go fire up the forge and start hammering away. That's the one I made from a plow bit, thick spine, sweet taper to the edge and to the point, it's a cutter all right. And when you see the temper line, which is clearly visible, you're gonna go "dang". :D

Avast there Kis ye slimy bilge rat, why I'm so pretty I had to grow a beard just to keep the wenches from swooning and falling into my arms. :p :D

Whether or not you take responsiblity, you are the man who has inspired me to make knives. It is all your fault ye slimey bilge rat. Dang I'm glad to know its that one. Just couldn't resist it, sir. Its a beauty.

Speaking of all this knife tinkering, I gotta head down to Austin and make a supply run. Just about out of wood, leather, and Yorkshire tea.

Kis got one thing right though, I'm fairly complex in my simplicity. ;)

Hi Steve:

Those are super! The bone handled one reminds me of a Bark River knife.

Did you make those good looking sheaths?

Thanks for sharing.

Heck no. Sarge made them.

Great knives. I seriously like all three of them. I especially like the antiqued finish. Must make it easier to use them.

Sweet! I'm going to have to get on the stick here and try and get one. I haven't been looking in the right places I guess! I love that puukko style dangler sheath, the leather work is very nice, and the antler on that bottom one is beautiful. A beautiful selection there Steve.

They're all very nice, but I really like the one down at the bottom of the pic. It got a nice finish set off with the colourful beading.

the first and the second from top really caught my eyes!
wow ... love the simplicity of the first, and the handle of the second,

Sarge, I gotta say the grinding on the center one is just sweet as fresh cane. I love that blade the more I look at it.

Very nice indeed! I really like that top one Sarge--just something about it. That would never leave my belt if I owned it.

I've carried the top one a bunch since I got it. It's small enough not to raise eyebrows at Walmart or the Mall, but large enough to do real work. I've even carried it at work on 2 "casual Friday's" wearing jeans, and no one said a word. It kind of falls down into my front pocket with about 3" sticking out, ready for use opening boxes, cutting string, etc.

Sarge,
I like that top one as well...How would a REALLY deserving guy go about getting one?? ;)

Since Steve P. wont send me any of his!!! PPFFFTT!!!:grumpy:

Steve F...You got mail on your way bro...
