Very nice thread. It will be interesting to see what models are the favorites of all us Spydrknuts. What is deemed best is often determined by the main use for wich the knife is purchased and, one's expectations of a knife in general.

Let me weigh in with: 1. Titanium handled ATR, Plain edge
..............................2. Para-military, plain edge, black blade.
..............................3. Any of the other models, picked by intended purpose.

of the current or near current models. I really like the Persian and think it will be a good all around ranch, hunting knife, but I'd prefer it to be a bit lighter somehow. Scorpius might really be better for that title, seems to really fit my hands well, and the Meerkat is just so neat and it is fun to confound your friends with the "closer".

Meerkat is just plain neat. Useful is the bonus Also have an Endura and Native III, but they just don't get used as much. I have a Centofante III on order, so this order will probably change in a hurry
