Well I've been a big fan of the Wegner since they first came out, and still have mine...have yet to try out a Lum...very impressed with some of the others mentioned (including, in no particular order, perrin, millie, goddard, spyderhawk... and the g-10 flat ground police I recently got)

BUT...the big news in my world is..I JUST SCORED A STARMATE! :D


To say I'm eagerly awaiting delivery would be quite an understatement. Pretty soon I should have a bit more basis for an informed opinion that just looking at pictures of one. Woooohah!

Wegner/ Wegner Jr/ Mouse or Trakker (I am guessing haven't seen either in real life)

Does this make me a Wegner fanatic?
 
I may have to change my list by one. I just got a Wegner a couple of days back and I think it might be better for my everyday uses, especially skinning deer and hogs than the Persian. Both are very nice knives though.

4. Civilian G-10 (Yeah I know, but it's so cute :D )
 
1. UK Penknife, S30V
2. Native FRN (plain edge), CPM440V
3. Calypso Jr. FRN, VG-10

These three are closely followed by a Rookie G10 (ATS-55) and the Centofante III FRN (VG-10).

The knife I'm most looking forward to is the Navigator 2, but I'm not really fond of SS knives, so I may need to wait a bit.
