Here are 3 warhawks I recently completed and shipped to customers.
All have rough forged leaf spring heads and curly maple hafts.

Oh I like those! I may have to give that a try someday. I remember asking you about how you insert the blade into the haft but I can't remember offhand. I was really hoping to get my orders caught up by Christmas but that is looking like it's a little optimistic. Still, I do hope to get my head above water soon so I can play around and try some new things like this.

Very nicely done. I really enjoy seeing your work.

Thanks for sharing,
SDS

Thanks Shawn. I'm in the process now of doing a tutorial on PaleoPlanet on how I slot the head and wrap it in. When I'm done with it I'll send you the link.

Outstanding my friend. I can't wait to see it. Now I just need to get off my butt and get caught up so I can try to make one of these.

Thanks guys. These hawks have proven to be good sellers for me. I have one to make for a client in St. Petersburg, Russia next month!

Thanks guys! Al, I'll be on the boat til Jan.7, but we do need to get some chicken the next time I'm home!
