Post something interesting????? this is just a few BF members at a Garden Grove aka Garbage Grove (coined by me) knife show! Good times. I am the tall goofy ugly one with the beard.
I have no large stockmen at this time. Surprises me....
Congrats on the milestone. I'm not sure how interesting this is but it is a yeller trapper, I mean, you can't get too much cooler than a yeller trapper can you?
Here is my current large stockman. It is not a very good knife. It barely holds an edge when I am cutting rope. Here it is with about a half-mile of rope that needed to have the knots cut out and spliced back together. thanks for the chance!
Thanks Tripton, mighty kind of you. I have posted a pic or two of our mutt before, but just snapped this one as she rested in the front yard after a hard day of play. She loves running around and wrestling with all her canine friends, but enough is enough!
Scraping the last bit of mustard that I can get with my Yellow Rose. That's what poor folks like me have to do. You'd be surprised at how much mustard is hanging by along the inside of the container.
I'm never sure what folks will find interesting, but here's an interesting "Gunners Dirk"; the blade is marked up the length to help indicate the amount of powder needed to give the correct charge foor the gun. It's from a collection in Prague.
And if that's enough to get your wife to allow Prague to be your next vacation destination, here's what the city looks like at night.
And if knives, history, and a beautiful, romantic, city aren't enough, there's always the food...
I don't have a blue knife; obviously I need one...
Thanks for the giveaway I'm in, here's one of my old favorites, a Frost Cutlery Black Hawk II bought back in the early 80s at the Allentown Fair at Allentown PA.
