You are just paying for those Shinney bolsters!;):D:p

Trust me I tried paying for them, but he outbid me at the last second. I was soooooo close to getting one of these. Made me mad/depressed:grumpy:

I am sorry to hear about your job, but one door doesn't close but that another one opens. Be ready for it.

Here is one of my favorites. Another Queen D2, this is the Congress.

Dammit...I'm just gonna have to post 2.

This is my favorite slippy that I am scared to use and just fondle now and then...

This is my favorite slippy that I use (use it like a madman actually)

I appreciate the kind gesture. I will refrain from tossing my name into the hat because I want someone to win the knife that will put it to hard use (and as weird as it sounds it's already difficult for me to add any more knives to my regular rotation because I'm so partial to the ones I use on a consistent basis). I just wanted to add a post saying that we appreciate your contributions to this forum.

Only because it was passed to me from my favorite Uncle wayyyy back in the day..

And, he also had fine taste in everything outdoors. This old Case XX Stockman is a perfect example.

As far as the job goes, welcome to the club. I can relate. Don't worry just have faith that you'll get not only another opportunity at something else, but a shot at something much better!

Congrats on your great contributions in here with your 3k post count! And Thanks for the chance with your GA.

GOD Bless,
Anthony

Thanks for a great giveaway, and congratulating you ahead of time on the turn of good fortune that is sure to come your way. I could never pick a favorite, but this morning I am very fond of this big 4 1/2 incher. I mostly carry an old Schrade 881 or Schrade 804 in my right pocket, plus something else interesting in the other pocket.

Mine has to be this Boker barlow. Spear-point main blade with a long pull in carbon steel is a great thing.

I have prettier knives, nicer scales, pearl, Winterbottom Bone, Stag but my favorite above all is an old 50s Colonial Jack with tin shell imitation pearl scales.

What makes it different is one blade is an ignition key for an old GM ignition, just waitin' for the right '71 El Camino to have it cut for. :)

lambertiana,Congrat's on the post count & Thanks for the contest.
I have a few I like,a lot,but if I only can pick one,it's this Queen classic Improved muskrat."Red stag" (cleverly jigged bone perhaps ?) ,pinned shield, one spring & catch bits. The long clip is D-2 & I am convinced the warny is carbon, from parts blade. It was a gift from my wife.

Congrats on 3k and thank you for your generosity. That IS a pretty fancy knife, no matter what you say.

Old Hugo Koller corkscrew jack. It was my father's so it has a lot of sentimental value, plus it has a neat locking mechanism on the main blade where you have to depress the pen blade to close it. Oh, and that old German carbon steel cuts like a laser. Although the 2009 forum knife is destined to become a close second in my favorites list.

This was harder than I thought it would be. I spent 20 minutes narrowing it down to four, then to two, then to one. There are some nice ones in this thread.

After much deliberation, the winner is: Neeman! Send me your info, either through the forum e-mail, or to my home email lambertiana at hotmail. And suggestions you may have on the best way to get it overseas and through customs would be appreciated.

Well,

Come on Mr. L.......

You gotta name the runner ups too!!!!
Thanks for the great giveaway idea. I fell in love with some new patterns myself.

Congrats to Neeman!!!!!!

Neeman is persuasive-- he talked me into gettin' one of those samplers too! Congrats, neeman.
